An ecumenical Christian food pantry serving the poor in the Affton area. St. Dominic Savio is a member church. Ministry in which people are trained to assist the priest and other liturgical ministers with the preparation and celebration of the Mass and other services. Training begins in 5th grade and is open to both boys and girls. Adult servers minister at 7:00 a.m. Masses.

Teams of parishioners who take turns cleaning the church on Saturday mornings after the 8:00 a.m. Communion service. The job includes light cleaning such as dusting, vacuuming and general straightening.

Lends crutches, walkers, wheelchairs and other medical supplies at no charge to parishioners.

Caring for the sick, homebound and hospitalized of the parish. Volunteers visit parishioners in hospitals and nursing homes, as well as in their own homes, taking Communion and remembrances for birthdays and anniversaries.

Volunteers work at St. Cronan Food Pantry one Saturday morning a month organizing and distributing food to pantry clients.

Members are involved in many programs to help the poor; monthly soup and stew collections, helping to stock food pantries, assistance with utility bills or rent, clothing drives, Linus Blanket collections, and annual Thanksgiving collections. Parishioners can help by making donations to St. Vincent DePaul SDS conference.

This auxiliary group of the St. Vincent DePaul Society hosts various events (bake sales, raffles, and craft fairs) to raise money for the poor. They meet the first Tuesday morning of each month to work on various craft items for their sales.
